Milestone 5 (Zineb)

  Overview

For this milestone, we all worked on separate tasks regarding the project. For me, I focused on finalizing the puzzle ideas, and starting to develop it by modeling the pieces. The first puzzle would be a Tangram where the player will have to assemble the pieces so that they look like a rocket as shown in the pictures below. The next step is to import this in unity and make it so that the player can hold the pieces, rotate them and manipulate them by changing their position. 


Challenges

The most challenging task was to narrow down the puzzle ideas. In the last milestone I had so many, and most of which were harder to implement in unity. And they were also harder and time consuming when I got my teammates to test the prototype I had. So I chose to be realistic and implement an easy and straightforward puzzle that the player would 100% get.

Successes

A success for this milestone is that I finally fixed the version of our Unity project and switched it to the correct one used in class. This task was fast and easy to do but it was nice to get it out of the way and not worry about it anymore.
